With continued growth across New Zealand and Australia, Manage My Bills is expanding its market presence while continuing to build the services and solutions it can offer its customers. It's an exciting time to be joining them.

About the Role:

This newly created position is an opportunity to take ownership of a market and play a key role in MMB's continued growth. While our preference would be somebody located in the South Island, we're open to location for the right skills and experience.

We're looking for someone with a strong B2B sales background who enjoys building relationships, engaging with businesses and creating new opportunities. You will be comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of your pipeline and results, while still enjoying the connection and support that comes from being part of a collaborative team as you build your presence, relationships and customer base across the territory.

This is a role with long-term potential. As the territory grows, so will your opportunity to recruit, develop and ultimately lead a sales team. MMB is looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey and can see themselves building something they're proud to lead. Key accountabilities for this role include:
  • Drive sales growth across the territory through new business development and growth of existing customer accounts
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships through a genuine understanding of their business and energy needs
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan, maintaining a strong pipeline and delivering against agreed sales and revenue targets
  • Maintain visibility of sales performance through accurate and timely systems management, forecasting and reporting
  • Keep across market trends, competitor activity and developments within the energy sector
  • Work collaboratively with the National Business Manager and wider MMB team to deliver a strong customer experience and, as the territory grows, support the development of the regional sales team

About You:

As somebody who knows how to develop a market, build relationships and turn those into business, you'll have solid B2B sales experience and the confidence to take ownership of a territory and make it your own. Beyond your sales experience, we're looking for someone who:
  • Works comfortably and proactively in an autonomous environment, with a natural ability to engage with people
  • Understands how to develop a market and build new business (energy or utilities sector experience advantageous)
  • Brings strong organisation and commercial thinking, taking accountability for results and following through on the detail
  • Enjoys being part of a supportive team, sharing ideas, working through opportunities and staying connected to the wider business
  • Can travel regularly as the role requires, with a full New Zealand driver licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Wants to grow with MMB, building a strong presence in the market and, over time, developing and leading a sales team around what they've created

How to Apply:

Manage My Bills have partnered with CRE8 Talent to recruit this position. So, if an autonomous territory sales role and the opportunity to build something long term appeals, Nikkie would love to hear from you. Please apply with your CV and cover letter, outlining your relevant experience and what interests you about the opportunity.

Applications close 5.00pm Friday, 11 September 2026.
