Conflict is like the ripples from a stone dropped into a pond.

Traditional dispute resolution identifies Party A and Party B. Party A and Party B are invited to attend mediation, adjudication or arbitration to either reach agreement or have a decision imposed on them.

At CRE8 Resolve, we know conflict affects many other people in addition to Party A and Party B. In an employment dispute, everyone in the business can be affected. The families and supporters of the parties in dispute can be affected. Ultimately, the customers of the business can be impacted too.

The ripples never stop at the two people in dispute. They reach the whole business, families, and eventually customers.

Conflict is personal, not objective

Usually, conflict is created by a perceived boundary violation by one person against the other. That boundary may be reasonable or unreasonable from an objective perspective, but conflict is personal, not objective. Conflict arises first in the mind of the person in conflict.

Just imagine how quickly that conflict could be managed if the people could be invited to have a conversation with each other at the time the conflict arises in their mind. Sadly, that is rarely the case.

Conflict builds, and it robs time, money and headspace.

Discovering you have options changes everything

At CRE8 Resolve, we encourage people to talk with us and discuss their options. In some cases, the conflict might be resolved simply by considering where the conflict lies and what options might resolve it.

Often, when a person discovers they have options, they find they might not need to engage the other party at all. And if they do decide to engage the other party, they will have gained skills and a clear approach from the discussion with our team.

Not sure where your conflict sits, or what your options are?

From workplace mediation to conflict resolution training, the Resolve team helps you manage conflict early, before it builds.

The real cost of "winning"

Conflict costs a lot of money and personal time, and it impacts productivity. In our experience, a person can go through a mediation, adjudication or arbitration and, although there is an outcome, they can carry the burden of that conflict for the rest of their lives. At the very least, they will have incurred significant financial expense.

People in charge of their own resolution

CRE8 Resolve promotes dispute resolution that puts the people in charge of the resolution, and gives them the opportunity to manage conflict in a competent and confident way.

Because the goal isn't just an outcome. It's being able to put the conflict down and move on.
