Have you stepped away from recruitment but still love helping people get hired?
What if you could apply everything you've learned in recruitment to genuinely change someone's future, without returning to the traditional recruitment environment?
At CRE8 Collective Emerging Talent, we're seeking an experienced recruitment consultant who wants to put their knowledge, connections, and experience to good use by helping graduates secure employment in New Zealand.
This is an opportunity for someone who still loves the people side of recruitment, understands what makes employers say yes, and derives real satisfaction from helping others succeed.
What does the role involve?
You'll work one-on-one with graduates, guiding and managing their job search from start to finish. This isn't just about reviewing CVs or offering interview tips. It's about taking ownership, thinking creatively, and helping each graduate put their best foot forward in a competitive job market.
You'll help graduates identify their strengths, target the right employers, prepare strong applications, develop their interview skills, and uncover opportunities they may not have considered. Some will need practical advice and direction, while others will need confidence, encouragement, and someone who genuinely believes in their potential.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who:
Has solid recruitment experience and a strong understanding of the New Zealand employment market.
Knows the hiring process inside out and understands what employers look for.
Can think outside the square, identify opportunities, and open doors beyond advertised vacancies.
Is exceptionally organised, detail-oriented and proactive.
Demonstrates patience, empathy and the ability to build genuine relationships.
Takes ownership, follows through, and enjoys seeing people succeed.
What makes this opportunity different?
This is a fully remote (if you wish) and flexible opportunity where you're paid a flat fee per graduate, giving you the freedom to manage your time and workload in a way that suits you best.
You'll work within an established CRE8 Collective programme, with the independence to draw on your experience, judgement and initiative to guide each graduate through their employment journey.
We're particularly interested in hearing from experienced recruiters who have stepped away from the industry, are seeking flexible work, or simply want to do something more meaningful with the skills they've developed.
If this sounds like you, or someone you know, we'd love to have a conversation.
